NLP Curriculum

NLP Practitioner Curriculum

Criteria for NLP Practitioner Certification includes a minimum of 100 hours of instruction, of which, not all has to be in the classroom training.   This NLP Practitioner program emphasizes behavioral flexibility and group interaction as well your integration of the body of knowledge that is the NLP Practitioner level of Neuro Linguistic Programming.

Days 1 & 2

The First days set the critical foundations and will include training in Basic Rapport Skills including: 

• Excelerated Learning©
• Pacing and leading
• Outcome Formation
• Goal Setting
• Presuppositions of NLP 

Exercises & Patterns will include: 

• Circle of Excellence
• Eliminate Resistance to Learning
• Goal Outcome Setting Session
• Chunking Chunking
• Logical Levels

Days 3 & 4

The Second couple of days lays another level of foundations and deepens the Rapport Skills you have learned starting with: 

• How We Learn
• More Excelerated Learning(c) 
• The A-I-S-B Model/Four Quadrant Brain Theory/Mirror Neurons
• The Importance of Asking Good Questions
• State Mastery
• Eye Accessing
• Submodalities
• Matching and Mirroring

Exercises & Patterns will include: 

• Swish & Squash Patterns
• Mapping Across Submodalities
• Logical Levels Pattern

Days 5 & 6

The Third two days of the seminar starts by reviewing Key Learnings and then developing your skills further and includes specific work with: 

• Anchoring
• Physiology
• Strategies
• Logical Levels 
• Finding Positive Intent
• Beliefs & Values
• Reframing
• Calibration
• Precision/Meta Model
• Life Change Patterns Part 1 

Exercises & Patterns will include: 

• Stacking Anchors
• Anchor Collapse/Anchor Chain & Reverse
• Stuck to unstoppable (chaining anchors)
• 6-Step Reframe
• Parts Integration
• Strategy Elicitation (Buying/Spelling/Love Strategy)
• Build Unlimited Ability

Days 7 & 8

In the Fourth two day period you will have enough skills in place to be practicing higher level NLP Life-Change Patterns.  You will learn: 

• Language Patterns of NLP and Sleight of Mouth
• Hypnosis
• Counseling Syntax
• Life Change Patterns of NLP Part 2
• Therapeutic Metaphor
• Introduction to Metaprograms
• Review and Deepen Skills already learned

Exercises & Patterns will include: 

• [Optional] Change Personal History
• [Optional] Core Decisional Repatterning(c)
• Eliminate phobias
• Threshold Patterns
• Time Line
• Nested Loops and Multiply Embedded Metaphor

Days 9 & 10

By the Fifth and last 2 days you will have great proficiency with basic skills and there are only a few more specific things to learn for NLP Practitioner Certification - Level 1 before the NLP Testing on Sunday. Skills sets include: 

• Key Learnings/Review
• NLP Negotiation Model
• Back tracking patterns
• Behavior Modeling
• Specific selling and persuasion language patterns

TESTING

There will be a written test as well as verbal behavioral testing to demonstrate proficiency and integration of concepts.  Certification criteria is weighted heavily on attitude, flexibility of behavior, and interaction with other students and with instructors.  The test is designed to help you integrate the body of knowledge of NLP and is the least weighted criteria for certification. 

Additional Credit - Level 2 Certification

You will receive Skills Integration Forms in your NLP Practitioner Manual.  After completing the 100 class room and additional assignments, you will complete sessions with 20 people and fill out the Skills Integration forms for each process you perform.  You will receive one hour credit for each form when the 20 are completed and turned in to The NLP Skills Training Institute.  

Follow Up Sessions: Five Weeknight Sessions (optional)

A common criticism of other NLP Certification programs is that people are excited at the end of the course, but there is no follow up and some people fail to practice their skills. This Course is designed to keep you practicing and working to further develop and deepen your skills.  You are invited to attend five (5)- four hour weeknight seminars in Scottsdale, Arizona.  You can receive 20 hours credit by attending these follow up seminars. 

To receive your NLP Practitioner Level 2 Certification you will also be responsible for completing and turning in 20 Skill Integration Forms from various Life Change Pattern sessions you will conduct  with other people for a total of 140.
